By using a good offer on Sunweb and then putting together the rest of it DIY you can get some great value for your money, well comparing it to other offerings I think it looks good value.
Book flights on easyjet.com £83.72 arriving on the Saturday.
Next off book your accommodation through Sunweb. What makes this great value is you get the 6 day ski pass included which is normally over €200pp so actually makes this far better booking the accommodation with them, which even though more expensive you are basically just doing it to get the ski pass. You don't get this until the Sunday, so after arriving on the Saturday you have the first day to settle in. Total price £398
And ski/boot hire is great value with europeanskischool.eu for two (€56pp) which works out at £99.06. Obviously if you have your own you don't need this but then you'd need to pay for this on the flight.
Total £676.38/£338.19pp

How high altitude is this resort? It's been a number of year since I regularly went on ski holidays, but that seems really quite early in the season (first weeks usually) and as such you may not be guaranteed snow.
Other than that the price seems really very good, but certainly worth checking the last few seasons there to see when they had the first good powdering, especially with the weather so far this year!

It is fairly early in the season but I've read a few comments and people have been October, November and December and been skiing. It has been snowing there last week if that's any help. Probably why the prices are decent and include the lift pass if it's early in the season.
Looking at the resort details is is quite high up; I went skiing nearby many, many years ago, and the slopes go right to the top of the mountain, so even if the snow isnt good (or non-existant) at the lower levels, there is usually still skiing available ,although not so much for beginners.
Price-wise, this is pretty good; I can do all the work and book a holiday for less, but for a single week, it would be close to this pp price. I prefer to drive, which costs a bit more and use my own equipment, which balances out the hire costs against the transport costs.
Taking your skis on a plane is always a risk, every time I go I see people shopping for new skis, because theirs were trashed by the baggage handlers.
Obviously, if you want to go for 2-3 weeks, driving and making your own arrangements can work out a lot cheaper per person, per week; especially if you have a big enough car with several people. My last trip was 6 people for 2 weeks and worked out at around £250 pp, per week; although we did splurge a lot on a luxury apartment and could have got that pp to around £150 pp per week.

As I noted, 6 of us by car; the entire trip worked out at ~£3,000 which works out at £250 pp per week, however we could have halved our apartment cost by taking two smaller apartments instead of one large one, and reduced our travel costs by taking the ferry and not the Chunnel. The largest chunk of the cost is transport, so the longer you are out there, the cheaper it works out per week. We also saved money by buying PAYG lift passes, as the standard passes are way over priced and cover a ridiculously large area; and as some of us had our own equipment, that saved on rental fees.
There was one guy living in a camper in the resort carpark, THAT must be a really cheap option!!
I'd name the resort, but then everyone would want to go, and prices would go up.

Nope, its a secret; however I would point out that booking a Ski holiday yourself is an eye opener, the package companies charge top rate for everything, even if you dont need it; the first Ski holiday I took to this resort (10 years ago), cost over £2000 for two of us for one week; it isnt that the resort is now super cheap; it is that the package companies over inflate the cost of everything AND charge premium for bog standard. For example, a large chunk of that money was for area ski passes - except we were booked into Ski school, where the lift passes were included (except the £5 for the cable car to the top, which we used once all week); nearly £500 (more like £700 now), completely wasted.
The rental prices were 50% higher than the price you got if you just turned up at exactly that same rental shop; and the room was 100% more expensive than if you booked it yourself. Even the ski school prices are lower if you book yourself.
We booked ourselves the same apartment block the following year for 2 weeks and paid around £750 total, including driving there and back.

That's a good point, I did notice that if you had a group of you the price drops a fair bit for the accommodation and the price average per person will also drop.

That is really early season! Not sure how much snow will be on the mountain. There will be a glacier to ski on, but I think it'll be very limited. Great deal though.

Leas Deux Alpes is a fantastic resort. Highly recommend.

Based on the last few year's snow record, there's probably a 10% chance you'll have any decent snow. Make sure you take your walking boots and be prepared to hire some bikes, or sit in an overpriced bar for 7days.... The resorts are all desperate to get people booked in now, as no one in their right mind would book this early ahead before knowing if there's snow on the ground.
There are no longer any guarantees that Christmas and early January will be snow sure, so early December is a real gamble...

the price is great but it's very early in the season, as others have noted - big risk you'll get no decent skiing whereas a few weeks later (because the snow groomers will have had longer to compact & save any snow falling plus it'll be colder plus the snow-making machines will have been going longer) your chances will have improved a lot

I don't know how people can say that it is possible to go to Alps and skiing for £150 or even £250pp.
We are going (family of four) and three other families to Switzerland in February (highest season) and from my calculations it will cost not less than £600pp. In the cost I have included: accomodation, fuel, eurotunnel, ski passess + extra fees.
