So many people have messaged me asking for October half term breaks in a budget. Well I think this looks lovely and is such a bargain price too!
It's in Croatia and the weather isn't guaranteed sun but I did look at the averages for last October and here is a couple of snapshots for last year and whilst it was a little cold early morning it did get up to over 20 degrees.

Book hotel on ebookers.com using code AFFCLOUD9 £251.27. It is right near the same and has great reviews.
Book car hire on cardelmar.com £32.89. It's a 5 door car so should be fine for a family of 4 but if you wanted an estate car is around £20 more.
Total £606.36/£151.59pp
I believe this is half term for a large proportion of the UK however Wales and parts of Chester may be the following week (thought I'd say that before someone says it isn't their half term)!

See screen shots for last year's weather, nothing saying it will be the same, warmer or cooler though.
If I could predict the weather, I'd also be able to predict the lottery :grin:
It's not the canaries so don't expect guaranteed sun, but it's not the price of the canaries either!

I found it to be quite expensive when there - earring out and such like. Just something to think about if looking for a cheap break

I was in Croatia in August, I didn't find it expensive but I found it quite underdeveloped and I much prefer Greece (better choice of accommodation and tavernas etc)

Do not use car del mar i had serious problems with them they charged me 57 euros for 3 days car hire that cost £52 the voucher was goldcar and stated that they were within the airport which they were not and that they were open 1200 to 1159 but they still charged me 57 Euro on top to collect car at 0330!!! they are also NOT part of the ombudsman ECRCS please only use car hire companies that are part of this scheme or you will have no recourse to complain when you get ripped off like I wa

Good find.... Shame it's Leeds airport. Hopefully Gatwick or stansted will be around the same price

Been to this part of Croatia. Not much to see or do, it's quite bleak.
Much better down in the south around Makarska or Dubrovnik (King's Landing from GoT). Be aware that you have to drive through Bosnia for about an hour or so if you want to visit Dubrovnik.
So you'll be driving through a EU to Non-EU border, and vice-versa, it's a hell of a drive from the north! I actually, stupidly, forgot my passport when I made this journey and didn't have my driving license either, they gave me a telling off at the border, but they still let me through and back again (thank god).
(Bosnia kind of cuts a chunk of Croatia off from the rest of it).
