I would prefer amazon platinum credit card with £10 promotion and .5% cashback. As soon as you have 1000 points you will get 10 voucher in amazon account.
Other nationwide and aqua reward give once in year cashback.

Nothing special about this deal as it's normal to get cashback on credit cards:
Is it really worth possibly negatively effecting your credit rating for £25???

Just to let u know credit rating is a myth. Every lender got different criterias which has nothing to do with credit rating. As long as u keep payments in line all well. I apply for a card whenever there is an offer and used various at same time for stoozing and never got rejected.

I thought credit rating is only negatively affected if you don’t keep up with payments etc?

Thats the primary point of credit ratings so alert other lenders if you dont pay back your current or previous credits

It can make lenders look like you are desperate for cash if you apply for many credit cards over a short period of time but after 6/12 month it doesn't show up so unless you are planning a mortgage application within the next year it's fine

When do you receive the £25? When you apply or once you've made a purchase or balance transfer?

Voted hot... On a side note I use to bank with HSBC and its partners First direct who unfortunately defaulted me for not using my bank account and using the agreed overdraft they subsequently asked for thier money back as I wasn't using the account I was going through difficult times financially than but they referred me to a debt collection agency who assured me that I I will be defaulted if I pay back the money which I did in couple installments unknown to me years later I found out that they did actually default me hence the reason I had trouble getting credit I filled several complaints to first direct but never was resolved the default finally dropped off my file couple years ago. Time to recuperate some of the that loss with this. :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:
