More like paid grants to stop large areas of the British countryside becoming wasteland. EU grants help keep the British countryside the way people (and tourists) expect it to be - once they stop large areas will become a wilderness. Not that that will worry the Brexiteers in Clacton - though it should, because the impact of Brexit's already hurting them, even though they're too gullible and thick to understand that.
