Doesn't everything in Poundland cost a pound? :-)

Not anymore. Seems to be alot of £2 items creeping in.

But you have to admit, it's still very good value
They try their best to get stuff for £1 but its not always possible

Not anymore you think you have a bargain and go to the till and suddenly its £2, £3, £5 for said item. They really need to change their byline from "everything's £1" dunno how they can get away with that on the front of their stores.

I think since it's their actual brand name they're allowed to keep it. Also because of inflation, they were never going to be able to sustain pricing everything at £1.

I have no issue with the name Poundland its their byline which is misleading as it still states "everything's £1" which is not factual anymore.

Have you checked your local stores recently? I don't think they've had that byline for a while. Now it's "Amazing Value Everyday". According to Google maps history, the one closest to me changed sometime during 2015.
