Never played it but £4.99 for any game is a good deal in my opinion.
Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of Fallout 3 and The
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, welcome you to the world of Fallout 4 – their
most ambitious game ever, and the next generation of open-world gaming.

Saw this in an email this morning. Great deal for an OK game. Worth the £5!

I agree . The game begins to drag after about 20-30 hours and quickly becomes a chore after that , but well worth £5 if you havent played

Thats about where I am up to and lost interest a little while back, seems to be so repetitive now (my sneak build probably doesnt help the matter)

It's an embarrassment when you compare it to FO3 and New Vegas. I enjoyed it still for exploration (minus invisible walls) but the quests and base building wasn't that good as I thought it'd be. Worth a go for a fiver though.

I don't get it, Fallout 3 is hilariously bad in every department. Obsidian showed they could take Bethesda's own adopted engine and craft a
flawed masterpiece over the course of a week in Sawyer's basement, with a
box of hot pockets as payment.
At least with FO4 Bethesda dropped any pretence they were making a Fallout game (and arguably even an RPG), so it's a decent game in its own right for it.

Definitely worth a fiver, I'd say worth it all the way up to £15 even Its still a good game and worth playing if you like the series, but as you say FO3/NV were just so good

Switch to survival mode and it might feel as a new game all together.

What settings does that change off the top of your head?

Just looked it up...sounds really, really difficult haha..hunger and thirst, no fast-travelling, stronger enemies, think I'll stop complaining about the regular game

Despite the grind, it does make for a far better game imo. Fallout 3 would have been a far better title with it included.

It is at the first, but when you get used to it, it feels like this is the way it should be played. I switched to survival mode when I was level 50+ and I had loads of skills unlocked in a pip boy and gazzilion bullets saved in my settlements, so it wasn't as hard as it could be. Now I'm level 85 and often I need to count my bullets...

I loved it and got it at full price, so this would be a bargain, especially the amount of gameplay there is. Wish they would bring out fo3 or new vegas for ps4/xbone though!

This does include a digital copy of Fallout 3 on Xbox One (X360 backward compatible) so even more of a bargain!
