Eastpak are a brilliant company, 30 year warranty, great if you want a simple bag that will last, and also one with good back support and padding.
£20 but with the 15% off code NEWS2015 it is £17. (you get it if you sign up to the newsletter) Free postage, free returns too.
On Amazon and other websites it is much more, especially if you don't want either a weird colour, or a boring one. It has been cheaper on amazon, but not by much, and usually for god aweful designs.
"The famous Eastpak icon, the Padded Pak’r carries what you need to wherever you’re going. With an iconic design and practical features, the Pak’r is known for its style and sturdy construction, allowing you to travel in comfort and style."
This bag is available in black, blue and purple in this style and a couple of leafy styled ones for this price, and there are other styles such as the krystal sketch for £17 after the code
Don't know why this is going cold, fabulous price for a Padded Pak'r!

You any idea how durable these are? It's cost effective, you'd replace a cheaper one several times in the lifetime of this product.

Love my Eastpaks! Out of interest, has anyone ever had to use the 30 year warranty?

I sent one back after 7 years as the seam had torn. They replaced it with a newer version, I've been using it for last 14 years, the newer one is indestructible. Other than the waterproof lining has broken down inside

I used the warranty as the straps of my rucksack had comeaway. They repaired it with straps of a different colour to the original. Bit of faff as i had to send it to Germany to be repaired- cost £10 to do so. Also it took about a month to be returned.
In principle a good idea to give a lengthy warranty but a bit of a pain in practice.

I got my first Eastpack back in 1996, still have it and use it. Still intact although looks a bit worn now.

There are some beautiful designs there actually, I really like the Austin Lake and London Lake series that are on offer. Tempted but I actually also like a bottle carrier on the side of my backpacks and can't see anything that has those.
