One of the best known and best loved of all the Belgian beers, the Belgians probably drink more of this than Leffe or Hoegaarden.
It it quite powerful at 8.5% but the alcohol is quite well hidden and 2 bottles will chill you out quite nicely
Best enjoyed poured in a large tulip glass with about 50% head and watch the head slowly dissipate leaving a lace marking on the inside of the glass, which the beer geeks among you will appreciate.
£2 per bottle but buy 4 or more for 20% off making 4 bottles £6.40.

Arguably the best supermarket beer widely available. Not quite as nice as Delirium Tremens, but definitely my go-to when I fancy a Belgian brew and don't want to order online.

Delirium tremens is a great beer but has a more acquired flavour profile (more fruity esters) whereas Duvel is a clean flavoured strong Belgian ale which is probably why it is so popular, the triple hop Duvel is awesome if you can find it (maybe Booths?) they change the hop blend each year.

I bought a bottle of delirium on the way home from work tonight and just wanted to say thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. It is now on my favourites list.

Waitrose have the 750ml bottle for £4.47 which although works out more expensive is in a really nice bottle with champagne cork and cage top, it'd be most welcome should you take along with you to a party or function. 750ml Duvel in fact I might have to have a search for some Waitrose discount codes!

Another Tesco deal that's not national, or is it just that my local superstore doesn't ever participate in any deals that are posted on here.
I asked the lad working on the isle and he said no there are no offers on at the moment :rage: I went there just for this deal as Duvel is one of my favourites but rarely have it and keep it as a treat.

Full price in Scotland. This is why I prefer Asda as they re price their alcohol in Scotland to match the multi buy prices in the rest of the UK. Tesco often don't.
