Worth paying more for one with bluetooth I think.

Except that the B/T model is twice the price - and won't charge your phone at the same time

In car phone chargers are pretty cheap though. And the cost of getting caught answering your phone in the car is a lot more than the price difference of a bluetooth stereo.....

Not sure about your question. Why would you use Bluetooth? To send music wirelessly via a smartphone for example?

sorry i am new to all this car stereo thing, would you not connect the smartphone with AUX cable, or Bluetooth a better quality?

most bluetooth stereos allow for the taking of calls while driving, an AUX cable will not do this reliably.

My aux has always worked like a dream... But Bluetooth is defo neater n less fidgety in the car

For making calls? most stereos will only support audio out on the aux then you have the phones mic as your mic which is very poor while driving and picks up the car speakers for the other caller. Bluetooth is certainly the way forward here.

Can connect your phone so you can play music from iTunes, Amazon, Google, music stored on the phone, listen to podcasts, a sat nav or 1 of the radio stations you like that you can't get on DAB as it's American etc.

Bluetooth is just more convenient than aux in these days. Plus my phone doesn't have a headphone jack. I didn't realise how much I'd use Bluetooth until I got my current head unit, it's great!

If only cars still came with double din slots/radios as standard.

bluetooth streaming allows any music on your phone to play through the car as well as spotify, google music etc.... also gives you hands free calling
Mad not to buy one with Bluetooth really.
A lot more cash admittedly but I fitted one of these double din units in mine, runs full a full android OS for Satnav/Music etc...worth every penny. autopumpkin.com/car…tml

How's the sound quality?
I have one of these running a compact version of Windows. it does everything but the sound quality is not as good as the likes of Pioneer, Sony,...etc.

Sound quality is excellent. some of the cheaper chinese Android headunits with older chipsets and 1gb ram are awful to use but the newer Intel sofia based units with 2Gb ram are excellent. Only thing I'd fault it is the lack of android updates from the manufacturers but sites like XDA Developers are useful for that.
