Not sure about the processor's to be honest, but I do see these used a lot. Decacore, that's ten, processor's so should be fast. Reasonable display. Only downside I can see is shipping from HK.

May be much better price than the geekbuying price, as when I saw it on GBuyer, it was 119 USD. Now I look Geek is auto converting to pounds sterling at @ £93.

Specs mean nothing when phone has hidden malware. Every Doogee phone is subsidised by hidden malware so don't think this any different. Negative

Damn, looking at this list of phones that have been infected with malware, I need to get two tin cans and a Longshot piece of string.
List of Popular Smartphones Infected with Malware Here's the list of infected smartphones: Galaxy Note 2 LG G4 Galaxy S7 Galaxy S4 Galaxy Note 4 Galaxy Note 5 Xiaomi Mi 4i Galaxy A5 ZTE x500 Galaxy Note 3 Galaxy Note Edge Galaxy Tab S2 Galaxy Tab 2 Oppo N3 Vivo X6 plus Nexus 5 Nexus 5X Asus Zenfone 2 LenovoS90 OppoR7 plus Xiaomi Redmi Lenovo A850
Nobody is stopping you from buying Malware . But Doogee is always full of malware. Plain and simple

From the article.
'According to a blog post published Friday by Check Point researchers, these malicious software apps were not part of the official ROM firmware supplied by the smartphone manufacturers but were installed later somewhere along the supply chain, before the handsets arrived at the two companies from the manufacturer's factory.'. Looking at the list of phones infected and from the statement above it would appear that there is no guarantee whatever you buy.

Not in case of Doogee . The malicious apps are part and parcel of Doogee . Nothing is downloaded . It is built in the official stock ROM .

I've heard rumours of spyware on certain brands of chinese phones, but surely a simple flash of the ROM would address that problem ? XDA seem to be more knowledgeable on this subject.

Review of the Doogee F7 here from one very disgruntled Jock!

Just realised you posted that video already, d'oh, though I don't like the term "Jock" (though I'm sure you mean it affectionately) :stuck_out_tongue:
Battery life is poor. Screen display is dull and below average. Usage instruction like phone unlock, etc are unclear."
Review (changed video as the original one wasn't very informative):
Interesting that the very first diagram says "3400mAh (2750mAh real) battery" which maybe doesn't bode well! This user (video below) says their phone had a much smaller AnTuTu Benchmark than advertised (at 1:25)
He also says the edges are bigger than pictured, it's quite heavy at 183g (quoted weight was 173g) and quite thick.
The camera is reckoned to be close to the Xperia M4 (at 5:30). Signal and connectivity is be good. Some stuttering during play with intense games.
This reviewer doesn't like the plasticky chassis (though you do expect that with cheaper phones).
