Not much to say except these are NOT wifi; just plug one in to your router and the other one into upto 2 devices (e.g. TV, computer) and they will work without any messing around.
I have these and they work fine. You can create a wifi access point (instead of having to attach your devices to the remote adapter with a cable) by plugging an old router into the remote adapter (simple instructions on the web).

Nice price for a twin port.
Bonus it's from Amazon (easy refunds) as powerline kits dont work well in every home.

Just a heads up, Sainsburys currently have TP-Link's 1GB Powerline starter pack at half price (20 from 40).

What do you mean by "a wifi on one of the power lines"? I assume you mean an old router. In which case you just need a standard Ethernet cable (this deal pack comes with them).

The wifi version is £44.99, which is also a nice saving, for those interested. Heat OP.

I have a log cabin at the end of my garden approx 20 meters. Purchase the by 600 extender but no joy. Was looking to add a eco for router to cabinto gain wireless wifi coverage. Should I try this or wireless version??

Assuming you have power in the cabin and you want wifi, then try the wifi version (both versions use the house wiring); take care with the packaging and return it if it doesn't work. https://www.hotukdeals.com/visit/threaddesc/2794827/15594967

Can I use the hub 2 as Wi-Fi extender?
