So maybe £20 (1/3rd off) if you value Clubcard points at 2p per point (they are nominally a 1p discount). If you must eat full price at Pizza Express or similar (and aren't able to use discount vouchers), this might be worth £40

I don’t get it. What is 1000 point worth in £

£10, but you can double or quadruple the value if used on certain things such as restaurant vouchers

Oh I see so this potentially is a good deal depending on how you use your points. £10 doesn’t seem a good deal. If anyone knows how to max out the point offer please let me know.

Hmm, is it worth me buying some of these just to get the clubcard points and selling the lego on gumtree or shpock or would i not get what tesco are selling the sets for? I'd keep them all sealed obviously to maintain value. I could use the £10 clubcard points on my next purchase on tesco direct for a decent gaming deal next time there is a discount code active and a console or controller or game is going cheap, if i can just make my £60 back off the lego... Thing is, I have NO IDEA at all how much lego things are worth though, does anybody who knows a decent bit about LEGO think it would be worth me spending the £60 and selling it all as Christmas is approaching? (I would assume parents will be looking for stuff like this for kids xmas pressies  ) Or is there too much of a risk of me having to make a loss to get shut of them in the end?

Not worth it for £10. You'd be lucky to sell the Lego for rrp

I don't think the effort would be worth the gain. I'd expect to only get 75%rrp back depending on set.

Only increases in value after many years.. very easy to get current sets at less than RRP for common sets.

That ship sailed when the new falcon arrived. Now folk know lego will just re release sets the "better investment than gold" bs the press made up days have long gone.

Thanks for this. Looking to buy Lego City anyway for my son for Christmas, so bought the larger Fire station £59.99 and a smaller Lego city item to take it over the £60. £10 will be quadrupled and used towards a family meal at Bella Italia around Christmas time.

I use the Tesco points for the cost of the ferry to the Isle of Wight - it converts to £40 and makes visiting my parents actually affordable! I also don’t need an excuse to buy lego!
