This is a sharp price for a nice watch. I have never heard of the vendor, does anyone know whether it is reputable or not?

Nearly. I don't particularly like the style of this but it'd just be cool to have a solar watch

It's the weird formatting when you copy/paste with the new HUKD website, that annoys me! First thing I do after I submit a Deal is tidy up the huge gaps...

Unfortunately it's yet another 'giant' watch. You'd better have thick wrists!

No wonder they were all out of stock at Argos, 7day brought all of them probably. finally I can get one

Tell me about it?, hahahahaha.
I recall the Argos one too ...
Argos would have proved a more convenient outlet though? (in case of any future 'return issues', etc?).
But what the hell, lol.

Can't go wrong with a Casio, although note they do require a battery, a rechargeable lithium one. I've had to change one in a solar Casio watch before. Lasted about 7 years.

So assuming that this watch at £24.99 were to last 7 years ..... Cost of ownership would be circa 1p per day.

One pyscho point not used much is that there are hundreds if not thousands of these penny cost items for one's lifestyle. (When one applies this penny cost justification to your socks, toothpaste, soap, gloves, nail clipper, pens....) But deal is a bargain but I have too many solar watches.

It's not the daily penny costs associated with socks, toothpaste, soap, Etc. that concern me, it's the daily ££££ costs associated with cars, kids and the wife that give me sleepless nights.

allow me to remind you this adage as a concept, "if you look after the pennies the pounds will take care of themselves"

Tried that. Got a jar full of pennies........ and a huge overdraft :disappointed:

A real life example, there was a time where folks had watched the ha'penny at fuel pumps, up to around £1.99 for a gallon, there was not much personal debt then nor much use of credit (cards). Now folks don't watch the penny at pumps and there is a lot of personal debt. A consumer programme on TV last week? on how "to watch the penny" or a similar modern technique, counting the cash as it leaves your hand, this technique helps to reduce supermarket shopping bill by half easy.
