Nappy newsflash: Superdrug are doing BOGOF on Size Micro, 1 and 2 nappies.
10% off when you spend £5 on Baby also (all the selected items here superdrug.com/sea…aby ) for Beautycard members.
Micro (1-2.5kg/2-5lbs) has 24 nappies per pack, and is £3.65 (BOGOF makes the total 48 nappies) superdrug.com/Pam…959
Size 1 (2-5kg/4-11lbs) has 22 nappies per pack, and is £3.99 (BOGOF makes the total 44 nappies) superdrug.com/Bab…210
Size 2 (3-6kg/6-13lbs) has 31 nappies per pack, and is £4.99 (BOGOF makes the total 62 nappies) superdrug.com/Bab…213
In store picture in Argyle Street, Glasgow earlier - they had all three size options in stock. Price/nappy summary for under a tenner (to help compare with Jumbo packs):
Micro has 24 nappies per pack, 4 packs is 96 in total (paying for 2 packs) = £3.65 x 2 = £7.30. (Price per nappy: £7.30 divided by 96 = 0.07p approx per nappy)
Size 1 would be 4 packs of 22 nappies, 88 in total (you'd only pay for 2 packs) = £3.99 x 2 = £7.98. (Price per nappy: £7.98 divided by 88 = 0.09p per nappy)
Size 2 has 33 nappies per pack - 4 packs of 33 nappies, 132 in total (paying for 2 packs) = £4.99 x 2 = £9.98. (Price per nappy: £9.98 divided by 132 = 0.07p approx per nappy)

I've never had babies but I have changed a fair few nappies  Mum always used Pampers when baby brother was born and seemed happy with them. Sis used Huggies on her two (surprised to learn they're not sold in the UK any more). Yet when you read around, mums tend to have their own favourites - some really hated Huggies!! - but the Aldi ones tend to come out top.
I've got a Newborn pack of Lidl's Toujours nappies x 22 (also very well-rated) which are £1.09 at the moment (same as the Newborn x 22 pack of Mamia/Aldi variety). I've put the Toujours in a "Baby Bundle" for my expectant brother (baby brother is now in his thirties, haha) and wife.
They're looking into the Eco nappies (think Bambo and Moltex are considered the better ones) but I really don't think they perform as well as the regular nappies, especially overnight.

I've tried a bunch of nappies for our baby and pampers we're easily the worst performing, while generally being the most expensive too. I guess they spend a load on marketing as ASDAs and LIDLs are better in every way.
Still, a good deal if you're unwilling to try an alternative for whatever reason.

Better value to buy a big pack of 96 for £10 in most of the major supermarkets but this is good in a pinch. (New dad so have been shopping around)

Surely as these are BOGOF these work out cheaper? To make them up to £10, or thereabouts, you'd pick up four packs and pay for two.
Micro has 24 nappies per pack, 4 packs is 96 in total (paying for 2 packs) = £3.65 x 2 = £7.30. (Price per nappy: £7.30 divided by 96 = 0.07p approx per nappy)

Size 2 has 33 nappies per pack - 4 packs of 33 nappies, 132 in total (paying for 2 packs) = £4.99 x 2 = £9.98. (Price per nappy: £9.98 divided by 132 = 0.07p approx per nappy)

The Boots BOGOF offer is for bigger packs and it's here (will have to get the calculator out again and figure out which is cheaper) :stuck_out_tongue: Good to see they have the Sensitive variety, not sure if Superdrug sells that one: boots.com/pam…aby
BOGOF would make it 88 nappies at £8 = 0.09p per nappy. (Note the Superdrug option is 2p cheaper, at £7.98 for 88 nappies).
The "per 1" price mentioned on Boots' website only accounts for one pack sold, so half it to get the BOGOF per nappy amount.
Not that I have personal experience, but I've seen new parents advise caution when bulk buying Newborn nappies, as newborns grow so fast, so probably better going for the smaller Superdrug option. That's just my opinion, though.
