400g of quality sausages for £1.31 sounds good to me. Half price now and on PYO. Waitrose, good with food :joy:

Waitrose pigs are reared to produce high quality, succulent pork that is tender and full of flavour.

If you look at Waitrose deals on here it's pretty often mentioned. When you have a MyWaitrose card, you can pick 10 items to get 20% off. Pick Your Own.

Because it's pork and apple. Apple is 17% of the remaining 25%

75% meat + 17% apple = 92% - computer says yes
plus if you eat the whole pack it counts as one of your five a day!

Used to like them, and the price is good but, they do taste too sweet and more sugar sweet rather than apple sweet. I first got into pork and apple ones when Tesco started the Finest variety. They now also changed and instead of apple bits you get those "cubed" apple bits. Same with the lovely caramelised onion variety, too sweet not very oniony. And because of that sugar content they burn easily when fried  Do like it cheap but the minimum quality has to be there. Oh, and that PYO discount system Waitrose has is most limited and tedious to use that I know of. Perhaps on purpose as imagine it was flexible and easy to use.....Waitrose would stand to loose to much with customers using it.
