Tesco also have a promo running - jam, mug and cake recipe for £2. Saw and bought today in Kingswood, nr Hull. Jam on its own in that store was £2.49

I was in a German supermarket the other day and all these jams were 1.49 EUROS (normal price). That's about £1.32.
Not sure this whole EU thing is working out for us.

Totally agree, most of the things you buy nowadays are cheaper overseas (except for loans and mortgages).

In Costco a 750g jar is £2.99 without any special offer which just shows how much profit Tesco are making when the price is at its usual level. This is the price is SHOULD be !
