This is one of the best lumpwood charcoals out there, for BBQ'in or smoking, that I have tried, Different from the smashed up bit and pieces you get with the Home Bargains, Diy stores and supermarket £3-£5 bags for 5kg you get.
These are branch shaped pieces of charcoal which provide great airflow. They are about 8-10 inches long and usually 3-4 inches in circumference. I have never received a box which contain smashed pieces of charcoal in tiny little bits. and next to no dust, They burn for so much longer than the cheap stuff, 6-8 hours for an initial load in my charcoal basket of my smoker. So quite economical in the long run when comparing to the supermarket bags also.
This offer works out at £51.98 for 45kg and delivery as low as £1.99 which is great value for a quality charcoal, or if you are a first time customer and order 6 you can get up to 30% of your first order (depending which voucher offer you use) giving you 90kg for £72.77 which should qualify you for free delivery, with certain timeslots.
I have posted a picture of this charcoal in the comments. If you have a large BBQ or smoker and use it over 10-15 times a year this sort of quantity is usable. If you only BBQ once or twice then probably not so practical.

Switched to this after using other charcoal. It is far superior to any other charcoal out there

Giving 90kg a go for £78.96. Works out about the same price as the coals2u restaurant grade charcoal I use for my weber smokey mountain, although I find some of the chunks painfully large and need breaking up and loads of unusable small bits and dust...sounds like this Big K should be better quality

I think it is, I got the same charcoal in blue bags from coals2u last year and noticed the same, before moving onto Aussie heat beads at the begiinning of this year. Didn't really like the beads, But on my third box of the Big K ones now and think they are great.
