Can the watch view the cam over the internet or just close by? This could do my parents to save them getting up to open the door for deliveries to nearby houses ( who are not home ever )
To select viewfinder or clock, press MODE/SLEEP repeatedly.
When in clock mode, press PREV repeatedly to go through clock functions.
To set current date and time, press and hold SET, then press VIDEO to make changes and NEXT to scroll. Confirm by pressing SET again.
Pairing your Viewfinder Watch with the cameraTo pair to the camera, go to Pairing in the camera menu and select WATCH.Press and hold PHOTO and VIDEO together to turn off pairing with your camera and switch on WiFi pairing to MOBILE.
Why wouldn't you just get something made for that purpose? I have a Ring Video Doorbell and can recommend it. Your usage sounds more like square peg, round hole for me.

For £169 for a ring doorbell, I`ll buy some chisel`s to round off the square peg and still be quids in with this :sunglasses:

Put some money in a piggy bank each month. You'll soon get there and have a better solution at the end of it, until then use a window?
You can pick one up for £139 if you google for a code. Worth it IMO.

I`ll stick with £30 to save them getting out of the chair thanks....window is no good as nearest one to the door is three rooms away ( they have a big expensive house because they don`t buy over priced ways of doing something that can be done on a budget as police pensions are not as generous as they are made out to be )

Security/door cam - could you fill me in? have you set it so it's always plugged in? does it sleep or always on? does it get hot if left on? I would be really interested to know

Thanks, was just away to post. For me it works if I'm at home or as a action cam away from home. Was going to get the £30 WiFi cam at Argos but for £10 more got this.

Anyone know of a good BUDGET wifi cam? Not sure this will be ideal as the watch screen will be hard for them to see
Anyway you could use the Wi-Fi to stream to another device (e.g. phone) instead of the watch?

Police pensions are still more than most low paid people's actual working income and well above normal couples pensions, even when deferred etc, for a single pension.
