I realise that this can be had for new from John Lewis & Currys for £199.99.
This is a refurbished model from Asus Ebay page.
Very tempted about this myself as my Acer CB3-131 isn't great for my needs because I often have quite a few tabs open and the 2gb RAM can't keep up with me.

i've got the acer 14 and love it, but want to get this c100pa to replace my tablet. I don't think this is a good price for a refurb though, would expect it being more around the £150 mark, especially as you can get less preowned on shpock. With them £199 new i was half tempted, but also was looking for a voucher code to get it slightly cheaper, but no luck. Hoping maybe it will come down to £150 in black friday week, especially when the new model c101pa is out.

If a new one is £199 with a 2 year guarantee from John Lewis, I don't see how a refurbished one for only £14 less can be a hot deal.

10" screen on a laptop?
Only 16GB storage? No USB3.0 (for additional storage)? No SATA or M.2 slot? Crappy Rockchip CPU?
Colder than a block of ice....

Cramped, shrunken keyboard layout?
...and for £185 refurbished?
Colder than a block of ice (unless you absolutely need something ultra portable and don't mind the limitations)

How do you find it for multi tasking? I can often have quite a few tabs open with 'heavy' websites as well as videos or music streaming. Needless to say my 2gb ram Acer CB3 can't keep up and often freezes or restarts.
And how do you find the touchscreen? I've read a few conflicting reports.

Depends what websites you use. Go to Liverpool Echo sports section and open several tabs with video and see how well then run. If you can't that on your Chromebook, you won't be able to do that on this either.

I have this model, I previously had an Acer 720 but also for some bizarre reason somehow acquired a Dell Chromebook 13 with Full HD at the same time. I have to say that despite the specs it is the flip that I have got the least use out of. The Dell is just so much better and the missus still gets loads of use out of the 720.
I would say if you dont have a Chromebook and want one then the Flip is fine, but if you already have a Chromebook you might be a little disappointed that it is not quite the amazing device the reviews seem to suggest.
