Worth pointing out this is free to stream if you have Amazon Prime, but for those that prefer to own their films this is a pretty good price!
I loved it, one of my favourite films from last year, but been known to divide!

Good film, if a bit nonsensical. (How did she not remember she was married to him?)

Not wanting to post spoilers but I think you may have missed a crucial plot point

I think you may have invented the non-existent "plot point" Its a science fiction story about first contact with time running out will they won't they that has been done every year since the 40's - and this is no different. Next time will they be communicating with farts, and people like yourself be raving how fantastic, original after 3 hours of Yawndom ? Even Futurama took the p**s out of this concept when they communicated in dance. And thats sums up this boring tripe. Futurama was more interesting Oh this underuses it's ONE good actor to the point you say "Well what is he there for ? To look shocked and impressed by how this atrocious actress gets so many lines more than him while over-showing another who plays every role EXACTLY THE SAME - who should actually be in some Aussie Soap only they'd out-act her.

Despite the thinly veiled insults you still haven't said what films in the type you consider superior.

And how on earth CAN'T you read my views for why this movie is tripe ? How simple do you need it for God's sake ?

All I've asked of you is to suggest films you feel are better, no need to be argumentative, but, ho hum this is the internet after all.

Tedious piece of drawn out crap overacted to the nth degree by an awful self-obsessed actress. Opinions couldn't be more divided by those who praise it, and then when you question them about it you doubt they even watched it in the first place, and were just parroting what they'd read from the usual suspects who like to pass themselves off as cool. And then theres the others who say (rightly) it's just one long yawn storyline thats been done countless times before, only better

I thought it was very good. PhilK what would you recommend that's the same but better?

I would say your sense of taste has left a "Dear John" letter to you and fled for someone with more consideration for taste

Good price but my all time favourites in this genre are K-PAX starring Kevin Spacey a very underrated film IMHO.And Twelve monkey's oh and close encounters was an epic when it first came out in the cinema when I was a kid.
