If you missed the Nike deal or are after a nicer band this could be a good option. I don't see these dropping much further as most shops don't seem to have been holding much stock.
Keep checking, they came back in stock again..silver is in stock as I'm writing this. it seems their system shows out of stock as soon as someone adds to basket without completing purchase, and goes back in stock after a certain time.worth keep checking their website. £220 is a steal.

Rather pay the extra money and then get a newer series 3

The cellular option on the series 3 really is a game changer in the smart watch market...worth paying extra for that I think

Only if you're willing to pay for cellular, at the moment it's also limited to EE and I've heard it's £5pm.
So the Series 2 may still be a decent enough buy.

I think it will be in time.. but I think right now at ‘gen 1’ in an Apple Watch it’s too limited and restricted. Give it a couple more years and I think it will be very much more refined and useful.

Series 3 LTE is excellent. It’s free for 6 months then 5 a month after that. It’s 30 days rolling contract.

I'd just get a series 3 for another £40. Will last longer before it slows down and has some nice upgrades.

Where is it available for £329? Have I missed a deal?

The Apple store.

£329 is the standard full price for the new series 3 without LTE/cellular so that's already a good price compared to the old series 2 which had a full price of £369 until 2 weeks ago
Opening post
Series 2, from £289.
