Sorry, can't recommend one. I bought my CCTV with disk included. You can pick them up from Amazon, Maplin and PC world to name a few

You are supposed to use NVR Type hard drives like this one: amazon.co.uk/Pur…h=1
However, any standard 3.5" HDD will work as well. As for capacity - i'm using a 500GB HDD pulled from a redundant Virgin TiVo box (that they diddn't want back) and its been recording 2x cameras for 7 days at 720p and has used 60GB of data,

Get a Western Digital Purple. 1tb upwards should be fine.

I do keep thinking about the nearest friend to the box tippexing "W" in front of the brand name though.

I'm confused so is the camera capture quality 1080 or 720 please?

It's 720p cameras but the DVR can record up to 1080.

The DVR is 1080N, which is 960 x 1080
That is half the resolution of 1080p.
The cameras are 720p.

Bought the Sannce and Annke POE system last year and very happy. Software is a little difficult to set up but fine after playing with it.
