I don't think it is a mechanical switch keyboard, if that's what you mean.

Bit pricey for a non mechanical, non-brand keyboard? Even more so given it's meant to have a normal price of £79.99? currys.co.uk/gbu…tml

Well it it does include a mouse  Would I be right in guessing it is a Curry's own brand, like their kenwood apliances, in which case I'd expect an inflated normal price.
It doesn't mention being mechanical in the description, nor on its box if you google images of it, surely it would say so if it had real switches?
This other AFX model says it is mechanical and states the type of switches:-
Apparently Dixons store group licenced the use of the Kenwood brand from Delongi, to put on appliances manufactured for Currys by other companies. I don't think Kenwood have ever manufactured Microwaves or dishwashers for example.
kailh brown switches. I bought the keyboard for £40 a while ago. I love it

Not multi colour back light on the keyboard, just orange, but does have different effects.
And it IS mechanical, using Kailh brown switches. Really quite nice to type on, I use it for work. Bargain for this price. Heat added.

It is multi colour; orange, white and blue. It is set by default to stay orange.
I wouldn't recommend as with mine it wasn't long before a key became faulty.

I couldn't find a proper review when I googled this keyboard the last time it was posted, but I did find one or two owner comments that indicated it was a mechanical feel keyboard, rather than a real mechanical one? I read the MK01 has Kailh brown switches.
