Not quite. Both come together :joy: Make me feel like the Spanish Inquisition - "Our two weapons are fear, surprise and a ruthless efficiency and an almost fanatical devotion to the pope !" "Thats four"

Shocked I thought these were built to a high standard in Germany.

Nope. Its actually Electrolux A Swedish company bought the right to the name, and make their stuff in places where cheapies like Electrolux and Indesit were made, apparently. NOT Germany - thats why I bought these in first place. I thought they were German. Quality is poor and life of the things prime 3rd rate make en.wikipedia.org/wik…AEG

Crikey...had no idea. Electrolux is generally worse than "own brand". It's name is plastered over those cheap tvs made in turkey for instance.
I guess this explains why my AEG washer/dryer packed in a few weeks ago after 5-6 years of service, I live alone though so wasn't best pleased. Had no idea I was paying for some Electrolux tat back in 2010-2011

Samsung are great. HIGH quality. AEG are not - certainly not the "quality name", and haven't been since early 90s. Wouldn't touch AEG products with a bargepole

They are manufactured by Electrolux the same people who make zanussi. Tbh for this price this is a very hot deal.

I think the condenser type of tumble dryers are being phased out in favour of the more efficient heat pump type. This one is a B rating, but the heat pump ones are A++ and of course more expensive

I’ve got John Lewis appliances that are well known to be AEG with a different badge. Beep flawless for several years and I have a JL washing machine, dishwasher & fridge/freezer. Although, of course, if you buy from JL, you’re buying into the brand and guarantee. I’m not overly comfortable purchasing from Currys etc. but for this price, I think it’s a good deal.

2 year warranty....no thank you. I recently chose a Samsung ecobubble, yeah not a top tier manufacturer like AEG but it has a 5 year warranty.

Use code AEG50 to get this price.
Note: you can also buy the machines separately and use the same code if you don't need both. Cost is then £379 each + 2% quidco.
