Now if only this was a 27 inch heh wouldn't even mind spending a bit more. Voted hot.

They do the 28" Acer RT280K for £309, but it is not IPS. Personally I'd like a 32" screen for 4k but it is not such a step up from my current monitor that I can justify £600+... With that context this looks like a good deal.

4K will be a bit of a push for a 970 in most AAA games. You'll be able to get 4K with lowered settings though, and there's nothing stopping you from going to 1440p or 1080p when you need to.

970 and 4k, a 1080 GTX basely belongs in the same sentence as 4k for gaming, let alone AAA games.
970 is a 1080p card.

DAMN! These deals always come when i'm very very skint. I would totally get this but don't have the money, shame as I bet they don't do the deal again for ages. :disappointed:

4k on a 24 inch screen? Seems a bit odd.

Much smaller than I'd go for 4k. Everything would be tiny. And Windows scaling sucks. Would have to be really close to not lose detail.

Ordered. I can use it with my ps4 pro and pc when I'm not using the 43 inch tv.

Too small for a 4k panel. But heat for the price if you have a use for it.

Both this and the recent 28" TN deal posted on here are making me think a 27"/32" 4k IPS deal can't be far behind...

Am I right that ideally with a screen this size, to benefit from 4k you would need to be 2-3 inches away?

2-3 feet, not inches lol

Yikes, showing as £299 now. Definitely not worth it at that price.
I have one of these. It's OK for the lower price, but there are several things that annoy me about it so I wouldn't pay more.

Is the picture on the monitor the "original" jump scare from about 20 years ago?
