The HP ProBook should be better quality than cheaper HPs. It has a service hatch which gives easy access to RAM and hard disk. CPU is good. Service/User Manual is here h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg…979

I thought the trade in was for business only.

Can a business be a sole trader? That is how I have used the tradein scheme.

Hi I'm after a simple laptop for my parents no touchscreen etc 15 inch screen. Would that laptop at £220 be the best around for this? Looking to pay no more than £250.

Beware that laptop doesn't have an OS (unless you have a spare one and are happy to install it.) What do parents want to do? Basic stuff assumed then perhaps second hand may be better e.g. find cheapest one here with 1year warranty -> mcscom.co.uk/sho…ice Or here mcscom.co.uk/sho…ps/
where's the option to select colour for the transformer? or is it just the pink?

If you add it to the basket it says "rouge" so I guess red(pink) is the only colour.

£318 for the ProBook looks decent. Shame the display isn't IPS 1080p though.

These devices have a flaw where they will refuse to charge until you open it up and pull the battery. Apparently you have to always use the provided charger to prevent this from happening. Annoying because I purchased one of these to conveniently charge anywhere that has an micro USB outlet.
