Great price. In all my years as an engineer I've never had any luck with this type of extractor set. Always have had to drill out and use larger studs or helicoils, hope someone has got on well with them.

I jb weld a screw bit, let it cure then try and unscrew, usually works.

had some last time on offer, seem ok (half decent metal) but not tested... one of those things that's good to have just in case you ned it, especially for under a quid!

Great value. Paid about £4 for mine from ebay for pretty much the same stuff

I had a mirror post snap on my Vespa PX in another life (about 6 years ago and a year before my life changing smash). It snapped right at the top of the screw. I couldn't get the screw part out of the socket, so I tried an "easy-out" extractor, which is just a brand name for the same type of thing as these. And that snapped in the post as well. After that happens, you have no chance of getting it out. I ended up having to cut out one side of the socket with an angle grinder to remove the post and extractor. What a total nightmare.

Used similar in work to remove a grease nipple that had been smashed off by the fitters.

I think one was meant to be the extractors and one the case to put them in on the original order.
