I would recommend playing in squads. Many laughs can be had

Good game but I got bored of it after a few weeks. Has anything changed, new game modes?

It has the first person mode added now which I personally much prefer

Nothing significant, they forced high shadows and PP for foggy weather so FPS dropped more. Bluehole are looking to spend the money we gave them on sueing Epic Games over Fortnite Battle Royale though lol.

They won't sue, they know they don't have a leg to stand on.

They're threatening them anyway unless Epic Games contact them. Sounds like they're salty over paying royalties on the Unreal Engine and probably the fact that Fortnite BR will hit consoles before they do. For the sake of PUBG longevity, hopefully they don't do it.
Fortnite BR is F2P but it'll be heavily subsidised with in-game purchases. Not to mention Epic Games gets money from every PUBG sale so as with any company, they will pursue things that make/save them money. Even if that means biting off the hands of those that let them make it to the top.
The high price point is one of the main deterrents to protect against hackers, if they go down the F2P route, they'll not only lose revenue but have to deal with all those accounts. Won't happen for a long time.
The more popular it gets, the worse the community will get. Haven't come across blatant hackers yet but there's no denying they're out there. Lag switchers are probably worse though, you can't prove they're doing it on purpose.

They've basically got no grounds for suing, you can't own a game genre. All they are doing is giving Fortnite free publicity for people that have never heard of it and making themselves look bad. Then again Bluehole is well acquainted with IP theft, it's how they got their start after all, so maybe they know something we don't.

Interesting development that. Is it possible to sue if Epic are not charging money for their PVP mode?

Bluehole in my opinion don't have a leg to stand on to be honest. Even Player Unknown him self he takes no ownership of the mode battle royale.

Good price, but after 10 hours and about 20 games, incredibly repetitive and badly needs another map.

This is the only game I've bought this year that I genuinely regret. If I'd bought from Steam instead of getting a key I'd have submitted a refund request. Between fun things like buildings not loading in at the start, players camping until they're forced to move and amazingly inadequate gunplay, I utterly fail to see why it's taken off in such a huge way.
Give me something like Titanfall 2 anyday. Immediate, discernable fun.

Both those issues you state have been resolved. Please remember that this is EARLY ACCESS. You are actually agreeing to buy an incomplete game.
Bugs and glitches are to be expected, because that’s what you agreed to.
If you don’t like buggy games, with gunplay that needs improvement, then don’t buy games until they are fully released.

It’s a survival game, the aim is to survive. Of course players will stay in the same position until they have to move. What a daft criticism

You can't refund early access games on steam so it wouldn't have mattered.

Dude, that’s your opinion and that’s great. But I’m afraid your opinion is massively outnumbered - it’s beaten some serious records.
It beat the record for most concurrent online players, more than any other game.... ever.
It also beat the GTA 5 sales record, selling 10 million in 5 months.
A big positive is due to the fact it requires no commitment. You can play as frequently or as infrequently as you want, it won’t affect your experience in any way. It’s a casual game for a serious gamer.
If I had to comment, based on the overall consensus of this game, then I would have to say that it’s one of the most enjoyable and nerve-racking, panic inducing games you could ever play.
Of course, if you’re rubbish and give up quickly, then you’ll hate it.
But each to their own, not everyone will love it.

This bit is what makes this game interesting,"most enjoyable and nerve-racking, panic inducing games you could ever play." I remember last year I bought Rust for a fiver and it thrilled me like no other game I could remember. PVE is a nightmare and PVP is evil in Rust and just when you think you are getting somewhere it is all over. Then do it all over again and again lol

What you're describing doesn't necessarily mean the game is good but rather the snowball effect of popularity, probably from it's coverage on YouTube. Also a game to be this popular needs to have online multiplayer. It's a combination of hype and people playing it online together that's made it sell so much.
Is it a super fantastic game.. No, not really. Is it good with friends and really intense at times? Yes!
Just an example of what I'm on about. Cod is massive and even though it's faded on pc ages ago it was always very popular on console. This isn't because it's good but because it's out before Christmas and every youngster in the land wants the new cod "cos their friends will have it." Some of the cod games are absolute rubbish of the highest magnitude but still sell bucket loads  The list of rubbish games that sell mill8ons of copies goes on and on if you think about it.
Being a brilliant game doesn't sell copies as much as hype does. Consoles are the kings of turning mediocre games into record breaking over hyped block busters.

Confirmed then, COD is and always will be the greatest by that Logic.
Everyone's loving this game for the youtuber/streamer bandwagon that it is. Wait for all this buzz to die down and people will see it for what it really is.
Oh also, enjoy the micro-transactions in an early access game. God only knows how awful the DLC and Pay 2 Win will become post full release
