Take a thick coat with you as crossing the North sea it can be choppy weather. Heat added

Don't get stung with the onboard mobile roaming charges if you go. :astonished:
Turn off roaming until you get to Holland!

Not if you're with a company that have abolished roaming charges  I used mine on the ferry to France and it was fine

Onboard roaming is completely different to normal land roaming. Trust me and read the reviews and see who's had their fingers burnt.

I got stung coming back from France, as the roaming in Europe is free now I just left it on but forgot to turn it off for the ferry back. Didn't even use the phone but it connected to the maritime signal which is classed as international and must of updated something. £12 later lesson learned but could be a whole lot more if your actually using your phone for something like videos.

We were caught when returning to Hull. I got a normal connection on EE, so my wife and kids put their phones on,but they are on Three which was not available to them so they connected to the Maritime one. Five minutes of Facebooking and the text messages started coming through about the charges. £120 lighter in the pocket!!! :rage:

hey guys, wondering if anyone knows how it works out two nights?
it shows 10/11/2017 as the departure date and return as 11/11/2017, i thought it was two nights, or is it really 1 night and 2 days?
hope someone can help me understand this,
cheers

You travel over night both ways and get the day in Amsterdam. So return is 11/11/2017 but you arrive back 12//11/2017.

Sorry to sound a bit dim but how does this work for 27-31 Oct for 4 nights?
Do you take the ferry and stay the 27th night onboard then arrange rest of the nights in Amsterdam separately?
