I'm tempted myself as I love Mojitos (and it's my sister's favourite cocktail - I sent it to her in the middle of the night at first, then decided to post on here)! Even Wetherspoons sold them at one point (though we were told they stopped selling them as there was little demand in ours).

You are brave admitting to working for Weatherspoon :joy: Anyway don't they sell beer rather than candles ?

No, I don't work there, just visit a few where I live  And I was referring to the cocktails they (used to) sell - hard to tell if that's sarcasm or not! :stuck_out_tongue:

Believe me, as a Glaswegian, there's a LOT rougher pubs than Wetherspoons here :stuck_out_tongue: ! The city centre ones are clean, well-maintained and all sorts frequent them.

Oh oh if it's Glasgow then Weatherspoon must be the ritz there, but in your own words, "all sorts frequent them" :joy: :joy: :joy:

Not that I want to turn this into a thread debating about Wetherspoons, but I simply mean people from all walks of life, not sure what's funny about that. Maybe it's different in various areas of the UK but the ones I've been in aren't that bad. And Glasgow city centre, at Jamaica Street (for example) is quite a troublesome area of the city..

Relax only pulling your leg, Weatherspoon has a reputation for a bit of rough where I am in London but you are right all sorts go in there. And you still owe me £11 for this bloody candle that I don't know why I bought

It's all cool Nicolas  There's a local pub near me (not a Wetherspoons) that has an ambulance outside it regularly...wonder if there'll be one outside there tonight - cheapest pints in the whole of the city centre (won't name and shame it). I'm sure the clientele are lovely but it's rough as bumholes.
I've not been tempted by the candle, might consider it for my sister...will ponder it once I've done some late night supermarket shopping...

Maybe I'm missing something, but 11 quid for scented candle seems pretty steep to me :kissing_heart:

Yeah, it is - it's a good price for a Large Yankee Candle, though. Wickford And Co Large Jar Candles at Home Bargains are £2.99 (at least I think so - last bought one about 8 months ago!) and come highly recommended.

I'll take your word for it and add some heat. But I'd be too afraid to light it at that price! I'll be sure to check the ones out at Home Bargains

One reviewer says: "The smell is incredible - just like a mojito! Fresh mint, lime and a very light undertone of vanilla"
