good price and excellent alarm have mine 3 yrs now as i got it for £180 in homebase but please do not buy the fob as it does not work due to incompatibility with wireless frequencies but it does not tell you until you have bought the key fob and instructions say. in saying that it only arms the alarm when leaving but that will be it. i fell for that one too.

Sure you have the right keyfob? Mine works for all functions, full-arm, home-arm and disarm. Keyfob model Yale EF-KF.

Mines going in the garage so I doubt many signals would affect it in there? Can always send it back with Amazon returns too.

I have one of these and it also covers the garage and man shed (2nd garage type). only issue I've had a pir in the garage but around 3pm if the sun was shining in it would go off so put door contacts in. The key fob is ok for us and have 3 of them, just make sure anything you buy have the silver Yale sticker not yellow as they don['t work with this setup.

I have this alarm, upgraded the PIR's to pet-friendly, added the fobs for all of use who reside here, have the additional key control panel upstairs.
Easy to install (i'm known to be useless at DIY), only ever had one activation and it was from Amazon delivering a parcel to the garden! The phone alarm notification and ability to cancel/reset the alarm is a bonus.

What sensor did Amazon trigger? A PIR pointing at a window?

The PIR Was in the corner of a room and the window was on the wall the PIR was mounted to, however, I can only assume that the PIR reflected off the metal fridge through the window and caught the Amazon delivery driver! (Backed up with CCTV Footage for the time of activation).

I upgraded the kitchen to pet friendly PIR and it didn't pick me up at 6 foot so swapped it out and the 2nd didn't pick me up either think I'm going to try walk on the ceiling next. I've got a bungalow so have the windows fitting with door/window detectors as well . I turned the sounder off in the house as it's that loud and if it goes off during the day with the dog by himself.

am I right in thinking I can put one sensor in log cabin in garden and the other sensor in bungalow?
