Used them. It didn't turn up and did PayPal claim. They're known for being unreliable.

I only know GB for delivering though with the amount of stuff they send some of it is bound to go AWOL. Or we're you suggesting PayPal were unreliable? If so, I concur, had various issues with their policies.

PayPal were fine, got money back. Geekbuying were trying to persuade me to close PayPal claim so they can refund me themselves. If you do that, it's over. They're quite sneaky.

Will wait for a decent gearbest or banggood deal then i think. The current ali express deal for this phone is good but many people complaining about non receipt with ali express too.

Depends on ali express who the seller is I believe
Not better IMO, though only you know what your requirements are. I have a lot of praise for Xiaomi though have not owned any other Chinese phones.

Just be aware what this deal isn't. It's not the NOTE 4x, which has the 1080 5.5" display and a generally hight spec.
Not saying it's a bad deal, but I found when you search for the Note 4x you often get results for the non-Note 4x, so you need to be aware of the differences.

Oh dear. I had that issue with gearbest and when I questioned why it wasnt dispatched a week later they said it was out of stock so I cancelled and ordered from here today. Hope its not the same situation here!

I've done the same mate and ordered from GearBest. I'll get a refund from Barclaycard if GeekBuying won't refund me for the other phone.
Annoyingly GearBest only had the gold colour but it's better than nothing.

That's like only 5 minutes ago? (considering that some of those day's elapsed over a weekend ... )
Your also forgetting that these are all from China, and 'sourced' from there directly too?.
Both BangGood and GearBest for example take on average about/around 10-14+ day's or so for theirs? (and both of those 2 source their Products from the same source too!, eg. China ... )
Either hold tight (within reason of course?), or call it a day altogether?. :-)

Be careful, this is actually a Redmi 4 Prime phone with a resellers modified Chinese ROM, if you buy it then be prepared to have the ROM ripped out and have the official Redmi 4 Prime beta global ROM installed. It is a lot of work (including having to contact Xiaomi to unlock the phone) to achieve it but when you do you will be rewarded with a bloody excellent phone for the price point. I'm currently using the white version and after ripping out the buggy, bloatware and possibly virus filled rom you get a smooth running phone with 48 hr battery charge compliments of the hefty battery and the Snapdragon's always on energy efficiency.

are you sure? because there are several variations on that page and this particular one is for the official global version. they have another option which is for the global rom which i presume is the one you are talikng about

The alarm bell here is that there is no "official stable" global ROM for these phones the official global ROM is still in a beta test stage and may not go into stable because Miui 9 global beta is about to be released.

What do you mean there is no official stable global ROM for these phones? Nearly all Xiaomi phones have Official stable Global ROMs. Here is the Redmi 4X Official Global Stable ROM<
This deal is the Redmi 4X "Global Version" meaning it has B20 and will be factory sealed and pre-installed with Official Stable Global ROM. Many YouTube unboxing videos and even hukd members who have bought this phone from previous deals would be able to verify that. It is not the China market version. It is from the Malaysia/Indonesia/Singapore.

In your previous comment you're talking about Redmi 4 Prime which is a completely different phone but that too has an Official Global Stable ROM< which was first released back in January<
