Love Mothercare's Big Baby Events, they always have some fab offers included & having taken a quick look, they may have surpassed their last one! Link goes to the whole site, but I will pop links to some of their top offers (in my humble opinion) below & in 1st post, you can C+C most items for Free or choose to have it delivered to your door for £3.95 for orders under £50 / Free Del over £50 & items from their furniture ranges are always delivered for Free. Worth mentioning for those who haven't already joined, if you sign up for their My Mothercare Baby Club they email you money off vouchers almost immediately that you may be able to use on the baby event plus lots of other perks too
Well, I appreciate the effort that's gone into this post. Thanks Op

Where do mothercare get some of these RRP's from? Particularly for their own branded products.
The madrid seat, quite simply isn't a £100 seat. it's a generic seat branded differently for different retailers. Most of whom seem to sell these for the £50 mark anyway.
Mothercare in particular seem to have several colour variants of this type of seat, and the alternate the £100 and £50 price tag between these to promote the perception of huge discounting.

It's an awful seat too, it's far too upright for a newborn, only rear faces to 10kgs (which is less than the standard 13kgs of an infant carrier) and rarely fits securely in most cars.

Customer care simply doesn't exist when it comes to mothercare. BEWARE !!!
spent 2 months in total for 2 separate order, had to scare them by threatening to involve trading standard and eventually got the refund

Gladly our Mothercare shopping days are rapidly coming to a close. During previous visits to their stores, we did found staff to be scarce and not particularly knowledgeable. The information offered was often inconsistent and opinions rather than fact.
That said, our local has a great free soft play area.
