Take a release tape in each hand and pull downwards and outwards. Drape the blanket over the flames to seal off the air. Switch off heat. Leave in position until cool.

Looks decent price as most places charging £7-9 each. Someone on ebay is selling them for less than a £5 each but not sure i want to invest in a cheap fire blanket. 'Very' are a bit spam-tastic in my experience however. Good find tho.

BBC's Fake Britain did a very interesting show on fake fire blankets. I would only ever buy one from a reputable seller, not worth taking the chance. (I'm not saying Very sell fake blankets by the way, I'm sure they are legit).
I'm going to test out a sample of the one I bought

IDCOOL: Was going to say that i'd be steering away from any on Ebay for that reason, although just because its from VERY i wouldn't put it past them to sell dodgy ones "by accident"
Although you would probably be sucessful in sueing them afterwards
