I bought a Tesco cheesecake the other day and it tasted dreadful. It had the dreaded 'new improved recipe' on it. I don't know how this trifle would taste. You may get lucky or you may get one of their duds like their cherry pies that contain no cherries! My experience of own brand Tesco is that the quality is variable.

Were £2.75ish in my local Tesco Express a couple of weeks ago, having had a craving for trifle I called at Aldi a few days later - similar price to this deal, so obviously bought it. It was absolutely beautiful.
This is a good price, hot! I still reckon they won't be this price in Express again though.
