I feel a bit guilty posting a Tesco barbecue just after another HUKDer has done the same but his post for the £20 barbecue reminded me that I very recently bought their "starter" model for £5 quid less. It's actually pretty good for the money and has a decent 41cm cooking area plus (it looks like) the other features of the £20 model. I guess it would be a bit cheaper in quality but it also comes with a pretty robust cover and barbecue utensils so it's great value in my opinion. We've used it twice and it does what it is supposed to!

I saw this too but decided to get the other one because I have tools already and the other one is slightly bigger by 2cm. Also it is deeper so that means more heat and don't have to refill coal too often.

I guess it's all down to preferences. Apparently (according to our neighbours) the people who lived in our house before us were South African and used to barbecue all year round. They even built an enclosed car port so that they could cook outdoors when it was raining. We're nowhere near as dedicated but there's nothing like a nice steak cooked on the barbecue on the few weekends when the weather allows it!
