So from £115 - £145 two people could stay a Sunday night with £40 to spend in the restaurant and and have 2 spa treatments each on the Monday by combining it with this other offer. village-hotels.co.uk/off…al/

Bizarre banding structure there. No idea why the scottish one should be more expensive than the english and welsh ones.

The person Marketing for Village hotels was probably a bitter Undergraduate at the time before the ruling came in for paid University fees in England and Wales, but not Scotland. :face_with_monocle:

What a ridiculous thing to do pricing hotels in certain areas of the country an extra 40% or so for the same thing.
Poke it up their arse!

Totally agree, every time I look to book a hotel in London I think it's ridiculous that the same hotel chain charges a much higher premium compared to the hotel in Barrow....

Almost like he/she was trying to draw attention to the massive land cost disparity between the two locations?

. So you've taken what i said and applied a ridiculous example so that it is completely out of context.
Last i checked Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow are not in London.
I'm sure even someone of your intelligence will be able to recognise that comparing London as a location to the hotel locations listed above is utter nonsense?

You specifically stated "What a ridiculous thing to do pricing hotels in certain areas of the country an extra 40% or so for the same thing." I used a logical extreme to make the point that different areas of the country may need to charge different prices for different overheads to turn a profit.
Are you privy to the overheads of each hotel on the list? Are you privy to the quality of each hotel of the service provided? I assume the answer is no.

So you're saying that the hotels specifically and only in Scotland have a 40% greater overhead for such services?
You sure about that? Sounds like a bit of mismanagment to me

I am saying I would assume there is a reason they would charge more, likely linked to overheads. Explain why the Blackpool one has over a 10% increase on Wirral?
I have bought this voucher and used it last week in Blackpool. While it was nice and good value for money, the pool and other facilities were essentially a health club and quite busy with people who were not hotel occupants but gym members. Looking at the Scotland photos it looks like they have better facilities and a less hectic atmosphere, thus a better quality product. I'd posit that as a contributing factor.
You're the one without any information going round calling people "dumbass" you ignorant buffoon.
