Sony PlayStation VR Gaming System with VR Worlds PS VR Game and Farpoint PS VR Game and Sony PlayStation Camera
Description says it's with the camera so it's a good deal if included. Shame I don't have £339.99 to smack down on this otherwise I'll be playing on this on Saturday :disappointed:

I'm really tempted by these PSVR deals, but the thing that puts me off is, you always have more to pay for. For the full experience you need the move controller.
Until there's a deal for the full works, I think I'll hold off.

*Please note: You’ll need a
PS4 system, a PlayStation Camera and DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller to
use the PlayStation VR. These are sold separately.

Hi, I actually thought it was a good deal with camera included so I went ahead and brought. Click and collect tomorrow. Rang customer service and they have said the camera is included and they can see a separate camera listed in the order on their system, so I will collect tomorrow to confirm.
It has been confirmed via telephone to me that it comes with camera.
All in VR ready to go and use for £339.99 is not bad.

This has worked out SUPER CHEAP for me....
Did online chat with CURRYS, who after some persuasion, agreed to Price Match to JL price
i had a free £50 Giftcard fromCarphone for 12month SIM deal, knocking it down to £289.
Already have the camera, so will flog that for £30, Flog Farpoint for £15/£20 as bought Aim Controller deal, this getting Headset and VR Worlds for about £240
seems a deal to me, and delivered tomorrow, oh and Quidco to

I've had one for a couple months now... it really isn't worth it, if it was £150 then yeah, but I've literally got nothing good to play on it and haven't touched it since the weekend I got it.

What experience have you tried with it. I'm completely new to it, never tried one or any vr for that matter and I'm hoping I will get a good experience and new experience with it.
I'm interested in the theme park game, hardly go to theme parks so it would be fun to just be able to ride a rollercoaster in my living room.
Main reason I brought was for gt sports which is coming out soon. I know it will be cheaper at Xmas time, probably about £50 cheaper but as it's school holidays and Im off work for 2 weeks I wanted it now. Basically 2 weeks off work, staycation paid for it. Lol
What games or experiences do you recommend?

- If it's on sale Job Simulator is fun for a couple hours, though mainly it's good to try new people on VR.
- Superhot is essential, it's just plain amazing and the most innovative shooter in years.... but again I wouldn't pay £300+ just to play it as it\s not a full game, it's more like a concept like Portal.
- Until Dawn Rush of Blood is again fun if you have some new people round... usually gets a few scares.
- Keep Talking and Nobody explodes is a good party game too.
- Statik is a nice little puzzle game.. but again all these are only worth it during sales.
- Resident Evil is okay... for me it just has such bad combat and it can make you feel very sick.
- Farpoint sucks, the controller is fun, but the game is like a shooter from the 90s.
- Stay away from PSVR Worlds, it is just plain bad and tbh I'd only accept it for free during a PS+ event.
For me the best game in VR is Rec Room, it's free on PC and I had a blast on that with my mates Vive, but it's not on PS4 and they have nothing planned as of yet.
As for GT Sport, those games are just not very good unless you like lapping with cars and that's it. iRacing on PC is really the only good racer, they're the only ones who have bothered to make proper online structure that turns it into a competitive racer.

Thanks for this information, really useful as I do feel I'm buying into the hype. Having second thoughts now, lol.
Gt sports appeals to me because with a wheel , I feel that would be a awesome experience.
The people that I spoken to that have owned one says they are really good, however the cabling sucks. The way I am looking at it is, £340, if not worth then can sell on the bay and recoup probably 80% of that back.
I understand most games are short and gimmicky now however new releases like Skyrim, although a old game it will be a totally new new experience through vr. Hoping and praying that will be a excellent full game.

the name virtual reality promises the world but does it deliver
it would be good if there was a way of seeing how this plays without actually trying it, are there any reviews of its performance ?

I cannot see VR going very far though, especially on the Playstation. Sony don't seem interested in making major first party games for it and third parties say it only loses money for them and isn't worth developing for. So we get lots of little indie games, but most of them say they cannot make another one because they've lost money too.

There's not that many more on PC. actually quite impressed with the selection on psvr in comparison. Will just take time for the better games to funnel through. Can see the next gen of VR being incredible.

Just checked with JL and the bundle does NOT include the camera. Misleading ad. Actual bundle can be bought cheaper elsewhere (Amazon STI.)

Anybody contact JL regarding the missing camera. They seem to be honouring by refunding the amount for the camera back £40 to purchase at your own convenience.
