i highly recommend the selp18105 G lens from Sony. gives very nice results and great for movies thanks to the power zoom. worth noting you will need a bigger flash with this lens or you can manually angle the built in one but can be hit n miss.
not so impressed with the sel24f18 zeiss lens but the sel50f18 prime is brilliant..

Isit worth doing this and buying a lens separate rather than buying it for full price with a lens?

Great deal. The kit zoom is rather poor optically but very compact. So worth having for travel. But I would advise buying separately and second hand. A 30mm Sigma prime is the lens to get for this camera IMO. The 19mm and 60mm are also great and quite inexpensive.

Any what warranty Bristol Camera provide? 1yr or 2yrs? Otherwise £419 with kit lens at Argos and John Lewis with 2yr guarantee. The extras Bristol Camera (memory card, battery and case) are compelling.
