Was looking for a replacement integrated dishwasher and came across this SMEG from AO.com. Use code 40BUILTIN to get this price (usually £299). Go through TopCashBack for a possible £25 cashback on top (although it only tracked at £20 for me)

Vittorio Bertazzoni Snr founded Smeg in 1948.The company originally specialised in enamelling and metalwork.
The name is an acronym for Smalterie Metallurgiche Emiliane Guastalla ("Emilian metallurgical enamel works of Guastalla").

Had a Smeg dishwasher last time, it broke down twice, the second time it couldn't be repaired so needed a new one. The repairman said that Smeg were crap, and Bosch were much much better. Cold.

I don't really have much opinion about manufacturers but Smeg - wow - the cooker I have of theirs is the worst I've ever owned.
I have had the cheapest of the cheap (Indesit electric cooker), fairly middling (New World gas cooker) and thought I'd "treat" myself to something a bit more upmarket.
The oven element has failed (managed to replace it myself). One of the gas burners has stopped working. The oven door seal keeps falling off (I'm on my third).
Bear in mind I'm a woman who's here on her own often, and uses the microwave more than any other gadget!
SMEG SUCK!!!

Coudln't find the exact model on Which, but the closest in model number, features and price (DI6012 £299):
Which? verdict: Great cleaning, mediocre drying = 63%
Pros: Great dishwashing
Cons: Higher than average energy and water use

Can't comment on the specific dishwasher but having just had a new kitchen fitted, pretty much everyone (designers, fitters, electricians, plumbers) was of the opinion that you should avoid Smeg because the quality is rubbish.

... everyone's' comments has gotten me worried about my purchase now... :worried: I always thought Smeg made good products - well, for their classic style fridges/fridge-freezers anyway. Well, fingers crossed! Otherwise we'll be doing a lot more hand washing if it breaks down...

Does this code only work with smeg dishwashers then?
I tried to fake an order but they want far too much info so never saw a promo code entry field.
