I think this is the cheapest it has been for the complete version with the 3 DLC trackpacks.... so that i think puts it at over 30 tracks in the game.
Also the beauty of it is, if you own this complete version, all of your mates can play on your tracks in multiplayer if you are on with them. imo its the best way to stop fragmentation in Multiplayer games and i hope more devs support this.
use code summer10 to get for £16.01p

This game is amazing. Absolutely blows Wipeout out the water IMO. So much faster, no dumb weapon RNG ruining your race. The controls are great and offers gameplay that plays differently to both f-zero and wipeout. Great optimisation as well, can't recommend this enough.

Removed my original comment because this is actually a very good price with the DLCs included, so heat from me. They also have the DLCs on sale separately. Vertex and Neptune are 60% off, Mars 30% off.
It's a fun game and very pretty. I'd definitely pick this over Formula Fusion or Grip, but maybe not over Wipeout Omega Collection due to how much content that has (especially the Wipeout 2048 stuff).

I bought this game looking for a Wipeout (played pure, pulse) experience since I loved that game series. Unfortunately I didn't like Redout. It's fast sure but I don't feel the environments are as detailed or interesting as those in wipeout. I might not have given it long enough since I was basically only going through deserts. There are also no weapons/pickups to spice up a race. I haven't returned it since I want to give it a second chance but my first try was not a good one.

Note to fence-sitters - there's a demo on Steam for this
Only 1 ship/1 track but it gives you a feel for the controls/an idea of the speed of the thing etc. etc.
My only real complaint is that it's a pricey game (Full Price with DLCs is AAA title territory) - I'd say this "sale price" is a more realistic price but hey, you pay what you want to pay!

try the free demo......
imo VR works very well.... the game... well for me its not a wipeout beater.. but i adore the wipeout games... but unless wipeout is coming to PC any time soon, and gets vr support, it really is not an option for me (i aint buying a PSVR for my ps4 pro..... 1 vr hmd is enough for me)
