Only got the 48k with rubber keys and no box, and some of the keys are faded from playing Daley Thomson's Decathlon too much

My N and M keys never recovered from that game :disappointed:

Not likely. Yes, the 128k 'toastrack' variant in very good condition, perhaps, but a 48k even in very good condition...you'd be lucky.

Yup, friends used to like playing football manager games - we thought that if you could take some elements out of one and put them into another it would be perfect.
So I ended up programming my own - it was a cross between 'On The Bench' and 'World Soccer League'. Took a while to create the match engine though!

I thought this was just essentially a Bluetooth keyboard and needed a special emulator app. Does it actually plug in to a telly etc?

It's Zavvi, they probably never had them in the first place.

Don't be sad, you had a near miss, almost paid £30 for a Bluetooth keyboard. Talk about mis selling, these things are a total rip off! (at the regular price, I suppose £30 for an accurate reproduction of the look is not so bad.)
