Small post-it notes that you can use to mark up books etc. Useful for both work and study. Each pad has 50 pieces, so with ten pads, you have 500 markers.
They don't usually go lower than £3, so a pretty good bargain.

They're £1.25 at Staples if you're buying enough other stuff to get free delivery... Item # ACQ-297958210. Alternatively, these Rapesco scissors are 85 pence, although they are an add-on.
