Horizon was a decent game. But I couldn't play more than about 10-15 hours. It felt very rinse and repeat and a lot of the weapons I just didn't use as there was no need.
I managed to get to the wide open world and then just stopped playing. My interest just suddenly disappeared. : /

Then you missed a great game, I played through to platinum and that is something I would not do normally.

My taste in games has been really weird the last few years. I've notice I'm barely finishing games. The ones I really like I'm really gripped into (uncharted 4, last of us, witcher 3).
But many other games I play and either put on hold or become bored early on.
With horizon, the story didn't grip me at all. The gameplay was a lot of fun, but I spent loads of time repeating the same kills which grew a tad tiring. I did get out into the larger world (after being blessed to travel where I'd like) and the dinosaurs looked amazing. But I just couldn't keep myself interested. :disappointed:

I am a lot like that as well at the moment and have a ton of games I've hardly played or can't be bothered to even start, however other than horizon it seems we have the same taste in games.

It's really weird I could spend hours on games a few years ago. Now I barely start games.
I've actually sold a lot of my pile off in hope that having less of a choice will help me want to game.
Atm I'm playing a mobile free 2 play called "eternium" which is pretty similar to Diablo series. Quick pick up and play every so often.
But I would rather play the console but just can't be bothered. A shame really as I just upgraded to the pro 2 months back. ><

Same for me, I've owned most consoles since the NES and always been into games. This last 6 months however I cannot face even starting a game, maybe I'm just growing up finally.

I'm inclined to agree. Limited edition console and brand new game. The only issue is that as Destiny 2 isn't out yet, you can't get your hands on the console until it's released. At least, that was the case in Game when I asked yesterday.

I was saying that the Destiny bundle is very good for the price, and the only reason this has a bit of an edge is because you can order and pick up instore now, or get next day delivery. In other words, get this one and have your PS4 sooner.
