Also comes in a grey and a green colour too. Thought about buying one as a spare but couldn't find any reviews.

I'm happy with it so far. My previous brush was by Omega I believe- but rebranded by Men-U - and it lasted for years.
They've been making brushes for painting and shaving since the 1930s, so they know their stuff.

How firm is it please

It's made of boar hair so harder than badger's hair and therefore cheaper. However I find it better then badger's ones as I have thick and hard facial hair so need harder brush as well. This is an excellent brush and a bargain.

I've had a couple of Omega shaving brushes for a long time and you can't go wrong with this brand.

OK unless you have any conscience re: animal cruelty. This is no different to buying fur.

Orrrrr, it's just part of the food chain and this creates less waste and therefore has sweet FA to do with fur or cruelty.

I just rub stick on my face and foam up with my hand. Messing about with a brush and trying to store it while wet was to much of a pain. Why make it so complicated.

Not trying to be funny, but what made you come to the conclusion that it was far superior? they all look very similar to me.

Neither has a proper description so I think you have a market stall brush from Italy. See what I mean

"See what I mean"? Not really- you've linked to a £21 German shaving brush with some blurb about its faux tortoiseshell handle.
