Stock showing for collection at Argos for the Switch, there's a few usual deals like a Nintendo Switch Console & Cars 3 Game £299.99
More of a heads up....
A little tip if you want to aviod paying up front even if your collecting, you need to add any item and it will let you reserve without paying upfront. Useful if you only want the console and it's making you pay first.

Use Stock Informer to easily check where stock is near you and set/get notifications when it comes into stock again. HTH

Was waiting for Argos to stock but then bought online for around same price (just very slightly cheaper). But prefer to buy local even though there is no real diff.

Man, they must have a shed load of those "exclusive" Cars 3 games to shift lol.

Surely worth paying an extra £10 to get Mario Kart from Smyths, if available? Genuine question as I'm starting to watch Switch prices more closely.

Cars 3 would be a terrible start for your Nintendo Switch. Arms, Mario Kart, Zelda, or 1 2 switch are great starting games for the console.

To be honest I only bought the console only however it's retail price so to avoid getting bashed for posting a deal that isn't a deal I posted a deal lol
This is my second switch, I sold my first after completing Zelda but really fancy some of the up and coming games.

Second Switch after "completing Legend of Zelda" - wow.

Well there was a bit more to it, I bought a pair for me and the lad, I had grey he has neon. We both completed Zelda then I sold mine, wasn't blown away with the games coming out plus liked the Neon more. I got full money back for it and was going to buy another next year. Anyways after watching more Mario videos and the new rabbids and some other games like Sonic Mania I've been regretting selling it.

You've done better then me. Purchased switch on launch day with zelda and bomberman. Played the switch for about 10 to 15 hours tops over the first 6 weeks. Haven't touched it since, currently in my cupboard.

Can't convince myself to get one after finishing Zelda on the Wii U. Think £300 is a bit much just for the new Mario game no matter how good it looks

Very true and I agree. New Mario looks like a Mario 3d land 2. Nintendo should have come out gun blazing with more exclusives.

They've said it's a sandbox style like mario 64 and sunshine

Yeah, I was just looking at the Tesco deals. £303 for a Switch with Zelda, and another £80-90 for the two Mario games, hmm. Can I really justify £400 for a console with three games?

Think you know the answer I'm afraid :joy: I'll end up getting one eventually. I don't want a missing member of my Nintendo family!

Eventually sounds about right. Just not sure when! I still have 20-odd unplayed PS4 games, not to mention the games I haven't bought yet.
I was always devout Nintendo, growing up with the SNES, N64, GameCube, and pretty much every iteration of the Game Boy; owned a Wii but never played it; and somehow the Wii U passed me by completely

I only bought a Wii u because a game shop nearby was closing down and had a brand new one for £150 the year they came out. Definitely my most neglected console ever!
Have you played Horizon for PS4? I've just started it and hooked! Reminds me of an adult version of Zelda where the monsters are all robotic...loving it!

Totally agree here, I've put some hours into Horizon Zero Dawn and it's great.

Aww man, so lucky! If someone had told me circa Mario Sunshine that I'd miss several Mario, Zelda and Metroid games, I wouldn't have believed it. I've seriously lost my way, haha!
I haven't played HZD just yet, but you're doing a good job of selling it! I'll definitely grab it next time it's on sale. I've just sunk a silly amount of time into Mad Max, and currently staring at The List wondering what to play next

I have a Wii U as well but we fancied trying the Switch and showing support for Nintendo! It's a awesome system just I get bored easily
