I had thought the Moto E was meant to be a budget version of the Moto G, but was pleasantly surprised by the E4 Plus.
Got mine from Vodafone with 3GB/16GB. Memory can be expanded with a microSD which can be formatted to act as an expansion of the internal memory (behaves slightly differently to the G4 Play). Only single sim. The battery is now built in - not (intended to be) user removable. The battery has a much higher rating and claims to last 2 days though not had a chance to fully test that yet. It is noticeably heavier than the G4 Play.
It does come with a 10W (2A) fast charger (wall plug and removable USB-micro USB cable) and initial testing does suggest it needs to be used with that to get any sort of charge rate on the phone. Left plugged in to a laptop standard USB connection for several hours only added about 5% charge. Overnight I tend to leave my phone plugged in to a 500mA charger, but 5 hours only added about 50% to the battery.

Only 1? Do you mean 1GB? The E4 Plus has 3GB Ram.

iPhone 7 has 'just a quad core' and only 2GB RAM! :astonished:

I may get this phone for the Mum given that she never leaves WhatsApp these days.
Any thoughts the price of this phone will drop anytime soon?
