I read that rotary shavers are good for tough beards, foil for regular beards.

Philip s one blade is the best .Rotary shavers start picking hair and pricking very soon.

Used a philips for more than 30 years and never had any problems, of course that is if you shave daily, if you leave it a week you need the long haired trimmer to shorten the hairs before shaving

got this and used for the first time and it is very good for the price and does not pull hair. i can't compare to others as this is the first electric shaver i have bought.

Picked one up the weekend, a real good deal, I have put my phillips in the draw and am using this now, I paid a lot more for the phillips and it has no long haired trimmer.
