Link shows 1GB RAM. Confused

Had a read down the Q&As (which took ages as I was laughing at all of the crazy questions!) - seems an Argos team member said it is 2GB and this Lenovo PDF datasheet says 2GB but the Lenovo website seems to suggest there are three different types of that same model number and one of those only has 1GB! Still confused (but that's easily done!).

Was contemplating using it as a controller for smart home kit, for example Hue lights and sensors etc. Would look cool mounted to the wall. :grin:

The speakers are nice and I got poweramp with effects and the atmos working together.
Anyone know how to get Google Assistant to work reliably on these?

Been using one of these for the last few months to watch movies on the commute. Screen quality is perfectly adequate and Bluetooth headphones work great with it.

Bought it for my mother to use on flights for e-magazines/box-sets and does the the job on the tin.
No, it's not as good as a Samsung but is also substantially cheaper.

I have the A2 10" and other than the headphone socket being temperamental (First one was exchanged as earphones didn't work in it) I have had no issues and battery life is quite good. My daughter wants an 8" and I can't decide between this or the tab 4 8" for £30 more but there isn't a major difference with the specs. Does anyone have either of them to see if it's worth the money? x

Brilliant tablet, had mine since Christmas.
Much faster than the very similar looking 1GB of RAM version.

Beside size are there any differences between the 8 inch and 7 inch Tab3s?

I bought one of these as an upgrade for my Lenovo A3500F, it turned out to be worse and I returned it...

I have one and it's an excellent tablet for the price.

Do not buy! I bought one of these and after a slight bump the whole screen shattered. Worse is Lenovo want to charge me £200 for a replacement screen and nobody else will touch them! Stick with apple or samsung, they're the only ones people can fix!

I bought one of these refurb. Not the quickest tablet in the world, but perfectly fine for this price. Worth noting, though, this doesn't do HD video for Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, you'll be on SD. Other than that, the screen is very nice and I don't notice the sub-retina display at all, the tablet feels sturdy and well made and holds a decent charge. If anyone has any questions, happy to see if I can answer them. :smile:

Would this perform better than an Amazon fire HD 8?

I returned two of these a few weeks ago, i've always used Samsung but it was the price that attracted me, however these are very slow i thought and got very warm even just playing video, each of them also had issues with the batteries, would be on 30% then before you knew it just change to 5% then turned off.

Price is good for such a tablet but personally i would avoid.

The guy actually said at Argos they'd had loads of them back due to several issues.
