Damn you. Lol. Was waiting for tomorrow to buy now you posted it I have to buy now! Got a gift card arriving tomorrow which gave me 5 percent discount. But don't want to risk it going oos now.
Oh well good deal.
I spoke to laptops direct today and asked them to beat it as per their price promise. They said no. It would be selling at a loss... Doh! So much for a promise...

Try zeek.me, not quite 5%, but 4% discount on gift cards, instant e-voucher delivery. I bought 10 cards for minimum number of transactions (£150 x 2 + £100) to avoid .30p fee / transaction fee

LOL. Yesterday you said that you were looking for a 14" not a 13.3"....

Either will do... was looking for a good all rounder... and struggled... 13.3 will be good enough

Good price, stick 8Gb of RAM in it and it will be fine.

£65 though for a 8GB stick of Crucial DDR4-2133 SODIMM.....
Flog the old stick for maybe £15 after postage + fees on Ebay and you're still looking at +£40/£45 or so to get you up to 8GB.
Other than that, it's a fairly decent laptop.

Would be brilliant if it wasn’t Lenovo. Had way too many problems with my current Lenovo laptop. Never again

This has 3 year warranty. That's why I got it as otherwise wouldn't have with lenovo.

Depending on the course that does seem a massive overkill if it’s for university!...Still at least it’s not a MacBook like the majority of students use

Have you looked at dell outlet? or dell? 15% student discount... or outlet discount at the moment. Can get a good inspiron for around 430 after their current discount offer...
Ok mine up and running, Seems great so far. Boots up really fast. Only thing is I didnt realise the bottom was all in one and doesnt have individual slots for upgrading for example the ram or hdd like the 14 inch one does? Does upgrading this one invalidate the guarantee? Seems all the componants are covered going by google pictures?
